COMMUNICATING WITH PW by Sandy Huneycutt This is an update to my previous article of September 8, 2005. The PCUSA web site has now published the mission statements/purpose statements for the 2005 Birthday offering and the 2005 Thank offering. The criteria for receiving these grants now requires an interim report be filed before the second/final payment is made and these interim reports will also be posted on the PCUSA web site as they come in per Cindy Goodman, PW Program Assistant. This is very resourceful information for all Presbyterian Women. As stated in our previous update, Mission and Purpose Statements will now be required of all future grant recipients and will be posted on PCUSA.org so you can make more informed decisions as to where your money goes. Please keep in mind, however, that when you send your Thank Offering in this November or December, these recipients will not be chosen until the Spring of 2006. I would like to add that Cindy Goodman has been very helpful to us in recent communications and I encourage you to contact her if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions at CindyGoodman@ctr.pcusa.org and share your info with Voices of Orthodox Women so that other interested Presbyterian Women can benefit!
